Kelly Shatat

Kelly Shatat comes to GPW Psychiatry with a wide range of experiences that have culminated in the perfect blend of skills for her role as Director of Business Development. Her eclectic journey began at the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy, where she first discovered her passion for medicine and business. After graduation, she thrived in pharmaceutical sales, earning one of the industry’s highest honors: President’s Club.

It was during her time as a pharmacist at Central Regional Hospital that Kelly was first introduced to the world of mental health. There, she fell in love with the work and the people—an experience that would leave a lasting impact.

What may seem like a complete pivot, Kelly then founded the jewelry company Moon and Lola, which quickly grew into a beloved fashion brand, earning numerous accolades and a loyal following. Through this entrepreneurial venture, Kelly developed key leadership, branding, and operational skills—growing a business with heart and a strong sense of identity. It was here she also discovered her love for design and decor, finding the perfect balance between creativity and strategy.

This intersection of left-brain precision and right-brain creativity is where Kelly thrives. With her deep-rooted passion for helping others and her natural talent for building and growing businesses, she is uniquely positioned to help GPW Psychiatry soar during this exciting time of expansion.
