Kinnari Patel, RN

Hi all! My name is Kinnari Patel and I am a registered nurse at Gupta Psychiatry. I graduated from UNC- Chapel Hill with my Bachelors of Arts in 2006 and received my Associates Degree in Nursing from Wayne Community College in 2011.

 

After graduating, I worked at Pitt Memorial Hospital/Vidant briefly before moving away to NJ, where I worked at Princeton House Behavioral Hospital for 5 years. During my time there, I learned so much about psychiatric nursing, and grew my passion for it.

 

I specialized in helping patients in crisis, as well as learning about different types of detox protocols. Since returning to NC in 2018, I have worked at Holly Hill Hospital, as well as Triangle Springs to further my knowledge about the psychiatric nursing field. I truly enjoy being able to help patients during their most difficult times. I have had the pleasure of working with Gupta Psychiatry since the summer of 2020, and look forward to further honing my skills as a psychiatric nurse.

Personally, I grew up in eastern NC where much of my family still lives. When not at work, my world revolves around being a wife and mom to my sweet little boy and rescue dog. I love spending time with my friends and family, cooking, and reading magazines.
