Lora Hargett,

Lora Hargett, PA-C, was born in Elkin, North Carolina and grew up primarily in Tampa, Florida.

She completed her undergraduate degree from University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Marine Science and received her Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Nova Southeastern University.

She began her career in primary and urgent care in North Carolina. After seeing the mental health needs in the community, she decided to pursue her passion and work in psychiatry. She has experience treating depression, anxiety, ADHD, bipolar disorder, and other mood disorders. She is eager to continue serving the community and helping her patients live healthier, happier lives. She believes in treating the patient as a whole, promoting therapy and medications as needed.i n her spare time, Lora enjoys hiking, scuba diving, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends.
